Candy Corn Cake

Celebrate fall and Halloween with a candy corn-themed cake!

Ingredients:

CAKE

1 cup (2 sticks) salted butter, softened
1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
6 egg whites
2 teaspoons almond extract
3 cups all-purpose flour
3 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
1 cup milk, at room temperature
Yellow and neon orange food coloring
Candy corn, for decorating

FROSTING

1 cup (2 sticks) salted butter, softened
6 cups confectioners’ sugar
2 teaspoons almond extract
3-6 tablespoons milk
